Earth Walk

Another poem from chapbook “12 Poems At The Dawn Of A Brand New Day”, self-published in 2000.  This one was originally titled #4:

We walk the earth’s surface
our microscopic portions
We wander through this magnetic pull
Oblivious to earth’s many layers
of ether as well as substance
that we have not yet reached
We don’t even remember
how every occurrence
connects us to this life force
We’re still trying to walk in our dreams
and fly through our lives

  1. Unsung here you have captured the layers we often miss. We are but specs within the Cosmos and yet each infinately connected. Brilliant x0x Sue

Hey Cric! what a great surprise! Love and miss you too…the fires are about 10-15 miles from my place…too close for comfort, everything’s so dry, and smoke everywhere!
