Three Poems For Our Inner Child

The joyful mischevious smile of a child
is sometimes all it takes to make your day

I’m beginning to fly in my dreams again
and experiencing things I felt as a child

The greens golds and crimson
against the soft blue sky around

me
fills my eyes with sparkling embers
and my heart with the hope of a child
